Shays Rebellion
Daniel Shay was a sargent who faught at bunker hill and at ticonderoga.
He was fined twice for unpaid debts.
He led a rebellion to show how serious farmers were.
He was a revolutionary War soldier.
He beleved so strongly that the government was wrong! Shays rebellion was against the government for not letting farmers have paper money,
also becuase they got their farms tooken away so they couldn't pay taxes and they became poor.
Most soldiers in the REV. War were not paid, so farmers couldn't pay the high taxes placed on their proporties.
Their farms were taken away and they were sent to debters prison.
